The recent buzz regarding the launch of iPhone 8 might come to a halt for time being. Many leaked rumors stating the specification and the features of the device has bad news for the iPhone 8 fans.

The iPhone 8 which was scheduled to be launched in the month of September might face delay. The leaked rumors also suggest one of the two new variants of iPhone 7 namely iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus, will be ditched. The iPhone 8 which seems to the best smartphone ever launched by Apple with an end-to-end bezel-less display may be priced at $1,200.

Apple which has planned to bring the new 3D face recognition technology to replace its fingerprint sensor technology which powers the touch ID feature may not come true. The delay in the launch of iPhone 8 may be due to a problem with placing of Touch ID below the display. The iPhone 8 is a premium smartphone launched by the company.

The inclusion of new cutting-edge technologies is causing the problem to the Cupertino-based company as they also have to provide an appealing look. One of the company’s spokespeople Ming-Chi Kuo said that the launch of iPhone 8 will be delayed due to which the phone will be launched somewhere in October or November.

The iPhone 8 which will feature 5.8-inch end-to-end display and the 3D sensing technology inbuilt into it may face challenges. There are also rumors regarding this device stating that iPhone 8 will have OLED display, wireless charging ability, and 3D facial recognition technology. Also, nothing is yet revealed by the company.

The main reason behind the delay is the inclusion of new features namely the OLED display, Touch ID feature below the display. Along with Apple, Samsung is also expected to launch its new Galaxy Note 8 device, Vivo is expected to launch its new flagship phone. Samsung and Vivo are also facing the same trouble with the location of a fingerprint sensor below the display.

Hence it will be interesting to see how these three competitors make it to the market with their new flagship smartphone devices.
